Frequently asked questions Q. How many pages does the website design include? A. Depending on the pre-designed template, most designs include around 5 pages of detailed information and images. Q. How do I provide the information I want included in my website? A. All textual content can be emailed to us, as well as any digital images you want displayed. Alternatively you can post photos/artwork to us on request. Q. What if I want extra pages added to the existing website? Will it cost extra? A. Extra pages, for example a Pay Pal ‘customer payment’ page will involve an extra design fee which is currently £40 per page. Q. If I want some changes made in the future to the content of my website will I be charged for this? A. If the changes involve just minor spelling error corrections or a small change in details, such as change of address or telephone number then no charge will be made. Major updates such as changes or additions to the textual content or pictures will involve a flat fee of £12 per
update to cover the time involved in updating your site. Q. Do I need to upload the website myself? A. No. We take care of everything involved in the process of setting up your website and uploading the web pages, information and pictures.
We will also optimise your website to make it easier for the major search engines like Google to find your site quickly and easily. Q. £95 is quite a low price for having a website designed and published, are there any other extra costs involved? A. After the first 12 months a web hosting fee will be due. This will pay for another 12 months and can be paid all at once or £5 per month by direct debit, whichever you prefer. This web hosting fee is to cover the ongoing service costs involved in running the web hosting service to enable us to keep your website ‘live’ on the internet. Q. Do you have any other web designs besides the ones shown? A. Our range of pre-designed templates are the only ones we currently have available for at the special price of £95 including web hosting.
However any one of these designs can be given a unique look by changing the colour scheme to your preference or by changing the pictures included in the design to ones that you can provide us with in a digital format (jpg or gif) We can also provide a custom design service to build your website from scratch. Do you register the domain name for me? A. If you don’t already have a domain name for your website then we can register it for you, or better still, you can register it yourself with 123reg.co.uk who we recommend for ease of use and affordability. You can use the search box above to see if your intended domain name is available. If you already own the domain name you would like to use with your website then it will be necessary to change the ‘nameservers’ to the servers we use to host your website.
